Thailand Privilege (Elite) Visa

The Thailand Privilege visa, still widely called the Elite visa, is a membership-based long-stay visa with fast-track and concierge perks. We explain the tiers honestly, help you choose, and guide your application end to end.

What we help with

Honest tier advice and a guided application, without the commission-driven upsell.

Plain comparison of the membership tiers and what each includes
Guidance on which tier actually fits your stay and budget
Application preparation and submission
Coordination of payment and member onboarding
Airport fast-track and concierge benefit setup
How Privilege compares to the DTV, LTR and retirement routes
Reality check. Privilege is a paid membership, with tiers spanning several years of validity at prices from the mid-six figures in THB upward. It does not grant the right to work and does not by itself remove Thai tax residency. Exact tiers and prices change, so we confirm the current options before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Elite visa the same as Thailand Privilege?+

Yes. The programme was rebranded to Thailand Privilege, but many people still call it the Elite visa. It is a membership-based long-stay visa with fast-track and concierge perks.

How much does it cost?+

It is tiered, with multi-year memberships priced from the mid-six figures in THB upward depending on validity and benefits. Tiers and prices change, so we confirm current options for you.

Can I work on a Privilege visa?+

No. Privilege grants long-stay rights and perks but not the right to work. If you need to work, we look at work permit routes or other visas.

Does it remove my Thai tax obligations?+

No. If you spend 180 days or more in Thailand you are a tax resident regardless of visa. We pair Privilege guidance with tax planning through a licensed accountant.

How does it compare to the DTV or LTR?+

The DTV is cheaper and suits remote workers; the LTR offers tax benefits and removes the 90-day report for qualifying high earners; Privilege is about convenience and perks without work. We help you choose.
