Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

The DTV is Thailand's flexible long-stay visa for remote workers and soft-power activities, often called the digital nomad visa. Five years, up to 180 days per entry. We prepare and check your application so it is approved without drama.

What we help with

From eligibility to an approved application, with every document checked before it is submitted.

Eligibility assessment for the remote-work or soft-power track
Document checklist tailored to your nationality and situation
Proof-of-funds guidance for the 500,000 THB requirement
Application preparation, review and submission support
Extension and re-entry planning across the five years
Coordination of the 90-day report once you are here
Good to know. The DTV is a multiple-entry visa valid five years, with stays of up to 180 days per entry that can typically be extended once on-shore. It is designed for remote workers employed or contracting outside Thailand, and for soft-power activities such as Muay Thai or Thai cooking courses. It does not by itself grant the right to work for a Thai employer.

How it works

1

3

Apply and settle in

We support submission and, once approved, set up your 90-day reporting and re-entry planning.

Why use Saibai & Co.

The DTV is forgiving, but rejections happen over avoidable document errors.

Right track, right evidence

We match you to the correct DTV category and prepare proof that meets the current standard.

We plan your entries, extensions and 90-day reports across the full five years.

Frequently asked questions

What is the DTV visa?+

The Destination Thailand Visa is a five-year, multiple-entry long-stay visa for remote workers and soft-power activities, with stays of up to 180 days per entry.

How much money do I need for the DTV?+

The headline requirement is around 500,000 THB in available funds, shown to a defined standard. We guide exactly how to evidence this for your situation.

Can I work in Thailand on a DTV?+

You can do remote work for clients or employers outside Thailand. It does not grant the right to take employment with a Thai company; for that you need a work permit route.

How long does a DTV application take?+

Timelines vary by location and completeness. A clean, well-prepared application is the single biggest factor, which is where we add value.

Do I still need to do a 90-day report on the DTV?+

Yes. Like other long-stay visas, you report your address every 90 days. We can file it for you under our compliance plan.
